A Commitment Ceremony gives those who either cannot or do not want to legally marry the opportunity to publicly declare themselves as partners for life.
Though this is not a legal ceremony recognised under Australian Law it is between two people who love each other and want to celebrate that love with a public declaration.
As the ceremony is not a legally recognised one then there is no legal paperwork however this leaves the ceremony content open to the imagination of the couple.
The ceremony may be large or small, formal or informal. It may incorporate vows, exchanging of rings, candle lighting, or tree planting. There may also be readings, poems and music.
The location may be your home or a park, and travel within 40 minutes of my home in Northgate (8 kilometres north of the Adelaide CBD) is covered in my regular fee. Outside of this can be negotiated for a small extra charge.
There will be a beautiful copy of the ceremony presented to the couple at completion of the event.
