Holding prestige for several years across their stores in Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra, The Sposa Group finally graced our South Australian shores in 2024, maintaining their status as a specialist bridal atelier with impeccable style and service. Lead by Owner and Director Bianca Velt-Herron, who brings with her more than 20 years of industry experience both nationally and internationally, theirs is a store offering a hands-on approach from conception through to the final, jaw-dropping end product.
Located on the refined and bustling Unley Road in Parkside, The Sposa Group is a bride-to-be’s home away from home. From the moment you enter the doors, you get the innate feeling that you’ve stepped into a world that surpasses a bridal atelier – you’ve entered a space where sophisticated gowns and personalised service meet in the centre. An experience like no other, the wonderful team at The Sposa Group carry themselves with both pride and knowledge for their combined expertise, and warm and inviting presence that they extend to every bride.
“We love to educate our brides to be,” says Owner and Director Bianca Velt-Herron. “It can be quite daunting for some brides, so we approach each appointment individually and always end up having a lot of fun, and a lot of laughs with them.”
The exclusive stockists of the coveted international couture label Demetrios Bridal, the team at The Sposa Group appreciate attention to finer details and the desire for creative freedom when it comes to the dress. “Demetrios Bridal allows us to create custom gowns to our brides vision,” Bianca tells us. “If brides like certain elements from separate gowns, we can marry these from scratch.”
Once you’re in the store, expect large, individual changerooms for privacy, and a curated selection based on your style, personality, and vision. Difficult to decide? The stylists know their designers inside and out and will gladly guide you through their options without overwhelming you. You’ll also discover their in-house alteration services a part of the store’s offering. “You will not leave our store until your gown is fitted perfectly,” says Bianca.
For brides with a party of more than four, we recommend the VIP experience; a private, Thursday night soiree, with champagne and ample time to peruse the store at your own leisure against the twilight backdrop of Unley Road’s sunset. “VIP is our standard,” says Bianca. “Our boutique is spacious and fitted to separate gowns into silhouette genres so as not to become overwhelmed.
